Availability of contemporary quality-control laboratories guarantees compliance of products manufactured with requirements of the highest international standards.

On the territory of the BKTM Factory, an attested laboratory functions which is fitted out with a high-tech up-to-date equipment of new generation originating from the world-wide known manufacturers. This ensures quality, acceleration of tests and a high validity degree of the results. The laboratory specialists are performing a complete monitoring of the technological process and are delivering a certificate of quality for each lot of the IZOVOL products manufactured.

At the laboratory of physical tests (a proximate analysis laboratory), each lot of the products manufactured is tested as per following indices: compression at 10% of deformation, compressive strength, layer-separation strength, tensile strength, shear strength, compressibility (the tests are performed on a universal machine in accordance with the State standard GOST 17177); difference of diagonal lengths, thickness deviation according to the above GOST 17177; volume weight and humidity in mass – all the above-mentioned tests are being carried out directly in the premises of the producing department where the products under the IZOVOL trademark are being manufactured.

A technical laboratory (a separate building) on the territory of the BKTM Factory allows to determine water absorption of the IZOVOL mineral-wool plates as per mass, a content of organic substances in compliance with the State standard GOST 17177, heat conductivity of the IZOVOL products.

A thorough selection and preparation of raw material components is performed on the basis of the results of a complicated chemical analysis by means of atomic & absorption spectrometry which is of great decisive importance in manufacturing the IZOVOL high-quality basalt-fibers with stable physical & mechanical characteristics which do not alter in the course of time.
